"She almost killed me!"
Alma Ferreira glared at him, her eyes wide with anger.
Turning sideways, she pointed to the blade still lodged in the sofa, her body trembling slightly, and said furiously, "Do you see that? That's what she did! I was just sitting here, and if that blade had shifted even a centimeter, I might have died! Nora Scott was attempting murder!"
Taking a deep breath, Alma Ferreira continued, "Let me tell you, the only reason I haven't called the police is out of consideration for the Scott family, out of consideration for you! Otherwise, Nora Scott would have been taken away by the police long ago!"
Alma Ferreira was very angry.
Alma had called Ernesto Scott earlier, yet when he returned, he ignored them and went straight to Nora Scott.
