"Did asking you to watch my performance wrong you in any way?"
Backstage at the theater, Flora Loughton, dressed in her costume, was touching up her makeup in front of a mirror while talking to Pedro Langley, who was sitting next to her.
"No."
Pedro was fiddling with his phone, his expression indifferent, his words not matching his demeanor.
Flora paused in her eyebrow penciling, casting a sidelong glance over, "Since you got here, you haven't even smiled while handing me flowers, and you say no?"
Pedro lifted his eyelids and corrected her, "I helped deliver the flowers."
Flora had been interested in theater for years and had been learning about it, but she had never performed on stage before.
This was the first time.
Normally, Mr. Langley would definitely come to support, but he was caught up and couldn't make it, so he could only 'offer' his only son in Fenton City.
The flowers were prepared in advance by Mr. Langley, and Pedro's role was just to deliver them.
