Cool.
Pedro Langley heard the voice, withdrew his gaze that was fixed on Nora Scott, glanced at Oliver Scott, and then smiled slightly.
A very subtle smile, yet it showed complete agreement with Oliver Scott's assessment.
Throwing the person aside, Nora Scott clapped her hands and then walked over slowly. The fierce and domineering charm was gone, replaced by a beauty so captivating that it was hard to look away.
Nora Scott looked at Pedro Langley and asked, "Did you call the police?"
"Yeah."
Pedro Langley nodded slightly.
Every time he saw Nora Scott in action, Pedro Langley would subconsciously call the police. It had become a habit, and this time was no exception.
The series of impacts left Oliver Scott momentarily stiff. He stood aside, still holding his backpack, his head slightly lowered, unable to decide what to say for a long time.
Finally, he looked up at Nora Scott and said, "Thanks."
