She felt a bit guilty inside.
His gaze exerted pressure, and being stared at made her quite uncomfortable. After a moment, Nora Scott slowly said, "It's been so long, no need to dwell on old grievances, right?"

Pedro Langley was so angry with her that he didn't want to speak.
After a pause, Nora put the pillow aside and said with a helpless tone, "Throw them away, however you like, okay?"
She felt as if she'd done something wrong.
Standing up slowly, Nora avoided his gaze and turned to head towards the bedroom.
"I'll go take a shower."
