The moment I turn around to see how Bram stopped working, my heart does a full leap.
Not only is the fool gawking at Zephan like a meal he would devour right here and now if he were given the chance, but his pheromones have shifted to this chokingly, infuriating scent.
This is what his arousal smells like? Disgusting!
Bram?" I call in a painful attempt to hide the disgust in my voice.
"Aren't you going to say hello to him?" I add with a smile the moment he turns to face me, and he grins.
"Y..yyes. Of course, I would." He replies, and I force a smile. However, before he gets the chance to take a step, Zephan moves.
I turn to him and find him walking over to Bram with that infuriating overconfident stride he always walks with when he knows he's caught someone's attention.
I look back at Bram, and my eyes narrow when I see how smitten he is by Zephan.
