Koda;
I freeze the moment I step into the hut. My jaw drops, and blood freezes in my veins.
The whole hut is a disastrous mess, and crouched on the floor in the middle of that mess is Elian.
He looks up at me, and his eyes light up.
"Oh, hi, Koda!" He greets, and I stare at the feathers on his hair, all over the floor, and leaking from our bed, which has been ripped open.
My eyes dart over to the sticks and torn clothes on the floor beside Elian, and my confusion grows.
"What… happened in…? Elian, what are you doing?" I question, and I watch him stick his tongue out the side of his mouth as he tries to sew something.
I watch in growing panic as he battles with the needle and thread, and he suddenly winces when the needle pricks him.
I rush over to him and grab his finger as I see the drop of blood begin to pool out of his finger.
