Charles Bennett heard this and said with a clear sense of dissatisfaction, "If he's injured he should see a doctor, why is he coming to you?"
Clara Bennett realized that her words might have been a bit reckless and quickly explained, "Third brother, I am his wife, at times like these I should be by his side, I shouldn't have said that."
Charles Bennett could only sigh helplessly and said, "Alright then, since you need to join the crew tomorrow, I will take care of things here. Don't worry, I should be able to handle this work in about a week."
To soothe her third brother's mood, Clara smiled and suggested, "Thanks, third brother, I'll treat you to a grand meal then."
Charles wasn't really interested in the meal, but the thought of his sister wanting to eat with him made him happy, so he nodded, "Sure, be careful on the way, stay safe."
Clara nodded and hurriedly turned to leave.
