Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 Wanting to Take Advantage of Her

Thinking of those humiliating things, staring at Clara Bennett in front of him, Samuel Grant's eyes flashed with anger and desire.

He gently touched Clara's face with his hand, ready to move closer, when there was a knock on the suite door.

Samuel immediately stood up alertly, realizing it was Daisy Stone who had returned.

He said, somewhat impatiently, "Didn't I tell you not to come up? Why are you here?"

Daisy, holding a camcorder, said, "This thing ended up in the car, and I thought I'd bring it to you. I'm also a bit worried; I feel like the longer the night, the more likely something might happen."

"As long as you do as I say, there won't be any issues."

Samuel hurriedly took the camcorder, his face grim, "Wait for me in the living room; I didn't tell you to come in, so don't."

Samuel turned back to the bedroom, Daisy frowning, "Why can't I go in?"

She felt something was wrong.

Samuel paused his steps, explained gently with his back to her, "I just fear seeing something unpleasant might make you upset, Daisy. To completely fool my uncle, I need a lot of evidence. Just wait outside; I'll call you when it's over. Hold the knife outside just in case, be careful not to hurt yourself."

Daisy bit her lip, her eyes hinting at displeasure.

Just as she suspected!

This Samuel Grant still intended to take advantage of Clara Bennett!

And Samuel's plan relied on her body and her child's safety.

Even though the hospital was nearby, and even if taken to the hospital in time, there would still be life-threatening danger, yet Samuel had the leisure to set this up.

Fear crept in her heart; she took a deep breath and held the knife outside.

Inside the room, Samuel had already removed his suit jacket, casually throwing away his tie, even ripping off his shirt underneath.

He originally thought that he should have gotten this woman on his birthday, even if it came a little later.

So what if it was William Foster, he could still take a woman from his grasp.

Samuel approached Clara, lying on the bed, while lewdly unbuckling his belt.

Just as he was half-squatting on the bed, Clara suddenly opened her eyes.

Samuel was stunned for a moment, then Clara swiftly picked up a vase beside her and forcefully smashed it at him.

Besides, with William's status, how could he accept a woman tainted by another man?

Samuel was completely stunned, staggering back a few steps, landing on the ground with a thud.

Clara's face was expressionless as she shouted, "Ah! Help! What do you want to do?"

Tsk, she initially wanted to see more of what Samuel and Daisy were up to before exposing them, but she didn't expect to fail this early.

No help for it; Samuel was too close, making her exceedingly uncomfortable.

Samuel's brain buzzed, feeling a liquid stream down his forehead.

He reached out to touch and found his hand covered in blood.

Samuel almost fainted, gritting his teeth as he looked at Clara on the bed, "Clara Bennett! Were you trying to kill me?!"

Clara smiled slightly, "How could that be, I was merely defending myself."

Kill Samuel Grant?

No, she wouldn't let him off so easily.

For such a wicked man, death would be far too merciful, too cheap.

Clara hadn't even considered taking his life, or even causing him to fall, never to rise again all at once.

Instead, she'd let Samuel live on with a ray of hope.

Like a bug trying to crawl up a thin spider silk, thinking he's reaching the top only to be kicked back down, tasting the same pain she went through.

Thus, Samuel Grant must not die.

But that doesn't mean she wouldn't give him a lesson.

Clara climbed down from the bed, holding the blood-splattered vase in her hand.

Seeing this, an involuntary fear struck Samuel, causing him to step back repeatedly until he barely stood up.

At this time, Daisy called from outside the door, "Samuel Grant, what's going on?"

Clara coldly replied, "Knocking me out and bringing me to a hotel and then calling that woman over, what sort of scheme is this?"

Samuel's face changed instantly. Taking a deep breath, he asked, "When did you wake up?"

"Guess for yourself."

Clara taunted.

Samuel sneered, "Even if you're awake now, it doesn't matter, you can't escape today."

With that, he headed to the door, pulling it open abruptly.

Daisy stood in the doorway, holding a knife.

Clara raised an eyebrow, "So, are you planning to kill me or do you have other intentions?"

"As a daughter of the Bennett family, we wouldn't harm you, but don't think you'll just walk out of here."

Speaking, Samuel had already taken out a camcorder, shaking it triumphantly, "I have footage of us opening a room here, if this gets out to the media, do you think your uncle would still take you in?"

Clara sneered disdainfully, "So you're planning to exchange this footage for evidence of your mother's crime?"

"Not just that, you also have to give me ten billion yuan."

"Ten billion?!"

Clara exclaimed in shock.

"You can't marry that man, right? That ten-billion-yuan dowry was prepared for you, so now it's mine along with my mother's belongings."

Listening to such ridiculous words, Clara couldn't help but chuckle, "Do you think you're that important? You want to threaten me with this evidence? My clothes are all intact, your unspeakable actions were all blocked by me, there's no substantial footage, and you expect me to succumb to this? Dream on."

Seeing this, Samuel picked up the weapon, "Now it's two against one, Clara, do you think you have any chance to escape?"

He then approached step by step.

Clara's eyes flashed sharply, "What do you intend to do?"

Samuel snarled, "Since you won't cooperate, I'll have to make you listen by force."

At that moment, in the neighboring room, Daniel Wright opened his laptop and watched the scene: In the extremely dim room, the camera's faint light showed Samuel approaching Clara with a knife—

"!!!"

Oh dear, the Young Madam seems to be in trouble!

Should I go help her?

Daniel quickly dialed William Foster's number.

At this point, Samuel charged at Clara with the knife.

Samuel shouted, "Stay still! I don't want to hurt you!"

Seeing him swing the knife, Clara proactively seized it from his hand and kicked him away.

Clara said coldly, "If you want to threaten me with a knife, you better see if you actually have the skill."

Samuel was kicked stumbling, and Daisy screamed, "Samuel Grant!"

She hurriedly ran forward.

Meanwhile, in the next room, Daniel was silent for a moment...
