Chapter 270 - Chapter 270: The White Eagle Summit About to Begin

One day later, at White Eagle Airport, Robin stepped off the plane. Her efficiency was truly remarkable; she had announced her departure yesterday and arrived today.

However, this relentless pace had taken a toll on her staff. Robin glanced back at the group accompanying her to White Eagle for the concert. Of course, she couldn't come alone; a whole team of staff was necessary.

Take Shu Cat, for example. He had been her loyal worker long before becoming an Evolver and gaining a Super Ability through the Chat Group. Even after this transformation, he continued to work diligently. Robin always suspected that Shu Cat wasn't really working at all, but rather indulging his passion for idol worship under the guise of a job.

Then there was Chu Xingyu. Originally a high-ranking executive at another entertainment company, he was fired after his company's event clashed with Robin's first concert, resulting in significant financial losses. Robin promptly recruited him to become her manager.

Chu Xingyu's professional skills were undeniable. He handled every task thrown his way with meticulous precision. Robin couldn't afford to lose Chu Xingyu, just as Elysia couldn't afford to lose Baldy Burke.

To be honest, Chu Xingyu's life was far better than Baldy Burke's. After all, the workload of organizing a concert couldn't possibly compare to the demands of running an entire nation.

Then there was Yu Lin, the bodyguard Zhong Wanhong had sent. Robin couldn't help but recall Lü Heng's devastated expression upon learning of this arrangement.

Lü Heng: No!!! It's all my fault for being so weak! So powerless!

In addition to these key figures, Chu Xingyu had recruited over twenty ordinary staff members, completing Robin's team.

Upon arriving in White Eagle, Chu Xingyu immediately began preparing for the concert. However, organizing an event overseas proved to be a completely different beast compared to domestic projects.

In the Dragon Nation, he would have been flooded with offers of collaboration and endless connections. But in a foreign land where he knew no one, even securing a suitable venue—let alone decent accommodations—proved daunting.

Price aside, what about the hotel's quality? Was the neighborhood safe? Would they suddenly find themselves caught in a gunfight?

"By the way," Chu Xingyu asked, "does anyone here know someone in White Eagle? Even an ordinary person would be helpful."

Anyone who's traveled abroad knows that wandering around aimlessly is a completely different experience from having a local guide. Even the most ordinary local can provide invaluable assistance.

However, everyone around Chu Xingyu shook their heads. They were all native to the Dragon Nation; none of them knew anyone from White Eagle.

Just then, someone in the airport spotted Robin and her group. Their eyes lit up, and they hurried over, saying in slightly awkward Chinese, "Miss Robin?! Is that really you? I'm a huge fan! Could I get your autograph?"

Although Robin wasn't nearly as famous abroad as she was in the Dragon Nation, she still had fans overseas. Many foreigners had traveled great distances to attend her concerts in the Dragon Nation, so encountering a fan here wasn't entirely surprising.

"Of course!" Robin replied with a gentle smile, accepting the pen and book offered to her. But her expression froze slightly when she saw the large, bold title on the cover: Beginner's Guide to the Church of Elysia.

Even now, Robin couldn't shake the lingering embarrassment of inexplicably becoming a religious figure. But having already agreed, she signed the book with her name, "Robin."

Her signature was light, flowing, and exceptionally beautiful. Knowing the man before her was from White Eagle, she deliberately wrote it in English.

"Thank you so much!" he exclaimed excitedly. "I'll frame this signature next to Lady Elysia's photo and worship them together!"

Robin, speechless, could only offer a weak smile.

Noticing Chu Xingyu's troubled expression, the man couldn't help but say, "Looks like you could use some help? Miss Robin was kind enough to give me her autograph, so don't hesitate to ask! I'm not some big shot, but I know every inch of this area like the back of my hand!"

"You Dragon Nation people have an old saying: 'Even a mighty dragon can't suppress the local snake.' Not to brag, but I'm something of a local snake myself."

"No way," Shu Cat muttered inwardly, "who introduces themselves as a local snake?" But remembering the man's foreign background, he figured it was impressive enough that he knew the old saying at all. I shouldn't expect too much.

Chu Xingyu's eyes lit up. "Really? That would be a huge help!"

Of course, Chu Xingyu wasn't entirely convinced. He remained cautiously alert throughout their conversation, wary of being scammed.

But Robin knew the "local snake" wasn't a con artist at all—Elysia had arranged for him to assist them!

Some time earlier, Elysia had approached Baldy Burke. "I heard the famous singer Robin is coming to White Eagle for a concert?"

Baldy Burke blinked. "And...?"

"Could you assign someone who speaks Chinese to help her? She's new here and will surely face plenty of trouble organizing a concert."

Baldy Burke frowned. "What exactly do you mean?"

Elysia's eyes sparkled. "If the concert goes smoothly thanks to my help, wouldn't that give me an opportunity to get close to Robin? She's so beautiful and adorable!"

Baldy Burke was speechless.

This is the first command you issue after becoming one of the White Eagle Eight?

But then he remembered it was Elysia. Suddenly, Baldy Burke understood perfectly. The order made perfect sense! It was utterly reasonable.

Baldy Burke sighed. "I'll arrange it immediately."

So much for coincidences. That local "snakehead" has been camping out at the airport for ages.

Switching back to Elysia, she was currently wearing a pink jacket, a black pleated skirt, and her hair tied back in a single ponytail. She wasn't wearing stockings, leaving her slender legs bare to the air.

Following yesterday's public address, the White Eagle Summit had commenced. High-ranking officials from various nations had accepted invitations to meet the newly appointed members of the White Eagle Eight.
