Chapter 4 - Lavender

Fluffy silver hair brushed back in a side sweep. Sharp Copper red eyes and dark tan skin gave him an exotic look. He has a lower lip piercing, other piercings on his eyebrows, and the bridge of his nose. When he spoke again, Alya noticed that he possibly had a tongue piercing.

"The purple shirt... I believe it would look nice on you."

This snapped Alya out of it, her face red as she felt embarrassed.

"Oh, yes, I think that is a good choice." (Alya)

How old is she to have to be snapped out of ogling a boy? Not only that her first response to him was to yell fuck and stare at him. She can't believe she responded like this to a boy. She can't even call him a man because he looks to be around 18. She may be physically sixteen, but that doesn't mean she is comfortable knowing this kid is attractive. She was 27 not long ago, so it makes no logical sense for her to respond this way. By the gods, if everything so far is a dream, she will question her subconscious thoughts.

"Weren't you at the Nagoya entrance ceremony at the beginning of this month?"

Alya wanted to say no, but this body does have memories of going to the ceremony, so she nodded. This time, she also noticed his outfit. A loose hanging red tie, a crooked shirt collar with a white button-up, and plaid Kaki pants. Same pattern as her skirt and bow. Same school, Nagoya characters...

"So you're skipping school too, or are you just sick?"

"Does it matter?" (Alya)

"It does and it doesn't."

"Well, if we go to the same school, you can call me A... Izumi." (Alya)

Is she a dubass? Only allowing others who are very close friends or family to you seems to enable others to call you by your first name. She almost broke the cultural taboo of Japan.

"Izumi... I'm guessing you're a year one?"

"Yes?" (Alya)

She remembers that day, so she attends as a first-year student.

"Well then, I'll see ya later."

With that, he turned and left, and Alya felt a shudder down her spine. For some reason, she thought that wouldn't be a good thing. Looking back at the lavender purple top, she sighed. He isn't wrong, though it would be a good color on me.

"He never told me his name." (Alya)

Alya bought herself clothes, lingerie, and makeup wipes. She nearly grabbed herself some alcohol, but remembering that she is a minor once more, she couldn't get herself anything to pass the time. How is she supposed to eventually get through interacting with people she doesn't personally know? She may have some memories, but that doesn't mean she remembers every detail. Just a little drink, a simple sip, and maybe she could act without feeling like she would vomit from stress. She surrendered to the fact that she won't be able to drink in another five years, the drinking age in Japan is twenty, unless she decides to go delinquent. She couldn't picture it, but maybe the original would. She couldn't help but chuckle at that, but she paid for everything.

Holding her bag, she walked to her home. She couldn't help but stare around herself. This was an alternate world. There is magic here, and she is back to being physically sixteen. The only dreadful thing is that she must go to college again. She felt like her brain was going to fry itself. She dreads having to go through the testing process. She won't have to pay any bills for a few years. Financial worries are not yet. She was safe from having to worry about a job. Never mind, she could live with this. Maybe this time she could attempt to study at home. She would get home in her past life and read a book instead of studying or doing homework. It seems this was a shared trait of theirs at this age. She can learn magic. This thought gave her pause.

"What if this is a Coma dream?" (Alya)

If that's the case, how? How would she have caused herself to go into a coma? She was lying down in bed. She would have had to hit her head or have a tumor... No one would know her condition unless someone knew her and checked up on her. Friday, the only person who would intrude on her is her mother; if she never shows up for the blind date, it would be her mother. She would be dead by then. She shook herself out of her funk. She can't change what is happening. For now, she will treat this like reality; if she wakes up, she might not remember any of this. So live every day like there is a tomorrow, and move forward.

When headed back, she thought more on magic. Her prior self found the thought of magic boring, but still attends a school specializing in magic because they were the only place willing to take her in for such a last-minute transfer. Oh yeah, she decided to transfer closer to home than the hospital since the person she was trying to stay close to passed away. Those foreign memories slammed into her with a pile of emotions as tears streaked down her face. These aren't her memories. These aren't her emotions. It felt wrong, and she sobbed some more but kept walking home. Outside the front gate of her home stood a young boy.

Sixteen, probably, Green eyes like an emerald, soft, pale skin with a lean build like a marathon runner. Slightly long blue hair is being held back with hair clips. His face gave Alya pause. Thats one of the male love interests. What is he doing at her home? Digging through the mass of memories, she had none of this boy, but this time, some memories of her previous world came through her mind. This is a year before the main story starts. The second-year transfer student is going to be the female lead.. Maybe she will return to her world at the end of the game. No, stop thinking like that. Shaking her head, she couldn't help but sigh. Her eyes looked again at the boy, or should she say Kenji Sato? Although in a couple of years he would have to wear glasses and be class president. He'd look better with his glasses and his hair tied back.

"Im sorry?" (Sato)

Hold on, she said that out loud.

"Nothing!" (Alya)

Alya damn it you need to get it together. She rushed over to the gate, put in the code, and opened up the gate for him.

"Do you want some tea?" (Alya)

He shook his head, having a serious expression as he glared at Alya.

"I was selected as class president, and I was told you were skipping classes." (Sato)

Oh yeah, this romantic route makes the rule-bound class president break some rules in pursuit of loving you. Yep classic.

"I will be attending classes more regularly tomorrow. Now, some tea, or shall I send you on your way? Also, don't claim they will have to contact my parents. They know, and they allow it now. I'm going to finish my day relaxing, return to taking classes, and attend all of them tomorrow." (Alya)

She didn't wait for him to respond and walked inside. She forgot one thing she developed over the years. The lack of tolerance for people that butt into her personal life instead of asking things like hey I was making sure you were okay. Instead, she got that you missed class, you need to attend. Care for one's being, then ask if they will try to be at school the following day. Makes friends a lot more often than not. Yeah, that's a nasty habit she will have to lose.

Sato seemed peeved but followed her inside the house. His height is currently shorter than Alya's. At this age, she was only 5'5. She stopped growing at 5'7, so she is 165 for their measurement for height here. He is supposed to be 185 after going through a growth spurt. Closing the door behind himself, he seemed startled by Alya's nonchalance. What can she say, he's just a kid... Wait a second, she is also only a kid.

"Sorry for being rude." (Sato)

He had leaned his head down in a bow, nearly making her leap back. Culture, culture, she was going to be forced to deal with. She leaned her head down and bowed low. This will be something new for her.

"No, I'm sorry for reacting so harshly, so I do take responsibility for what happened." (Alya)
