Chapter 3 - Sharing Poems.

Sayori clasped her hands. "Okay guys, let's plan some activities to discuss now. It's time to get off our comfort zones."

Yuri and Natsuki both came to the middle of the clas so we can discuss. Monika was the first to speak. "Now then, this is the literature club so we would have to do an activity that is doable by us all."

I raised a hand. "Why not writing poems and sharing it to each other."

Monika's gaze snapped to me, her bright green eyes narrowing for the briefest moment—just a flicker, almost imperceptible. Then her usual cheery smile returned, too perfect, too smooth.

"That's actually a great idea, Mark!" she said, clapping her hands together lightly. "Writing poems is what we do best here, after all."

Sayori bounced in place, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Ooooh! That sounds fun! I'll write a poem about clouds and sunshine!"

Yuri, standing a little to the side, seemed to hesitate. Her fingers tugged at the hem of her sleeve, her eyes darting away.

"I... I suppose that would be acceptable," she murmured, her voice soft and barely above a whisper.

Natsuki crossed her arms, looking slightly annoyed but not objecting. "Hmph. As long as we're not writing love poems or anything super cheesy... I'm in."

Monika nodded, her smile warm, but there was a strange tightness in her posture, like she was forcing herself to keep it together.

"Then it's settled," she said, her voice a touch too bright. "Let's each write a poem tonight and bring it tomorrow to share. Don't hold back—write about whatever's on your mind, no matter how dark or light it may be."

DING

[Main Quest Updated: Write a Poem for the Literature Club.]

[Deadline: Tomorrow.]

[Optional Reward: A hidden truth about the club will be revealed if your poem resonates with someone.]

The words faded, but they left a weight behind, like an invisible hand gripping my shoulder.

Monika's gaze lingered on me for a second too long.

Was she... waiting for something?

I glanced at Natsuki, who was already flipping through her manga again, her mood seemingly light. Sayori was doodling in the air, lost in her thoughts. Yuri looked... anxious, her eyes darting toward the window as if searching for an escape.

And Monika went back to her seat and to her notebook, what could she be writing, what could she be doing. I placed the Magic Bullet Book from the Scarlet Devil onto the desk with a soft thud. The cover was worn yet pristine—an unsettling contradiction, like it had existed outside time. A faint shimmer seemed to pulse along the edges of the pages, subtle enough to dismiss but impossible to unsee once noticed.

But yet it seems no one noticed the weird design from the book even Yuri who was next to me was absorbed in her personal fantasy.

I sighed and opened the book. "Bullet Magic of the Scarled Devil, huh so this world is connected to Touhou." I said quietly.

Sayori peeked over my shoulder, her eyes wide. "Touhou? Is that like a game or something?"

I was startled a bit then calmed down. "No, I read it was the name of a distant world where supernatural beings reside where they play games by shooting bullets at each other, it's something Occult, now then I think I need to right a poem now huh?."

Sayori nodded. "Yep, we don't have that much time left, so this is the best time to write.",

After saying that she went to a desk and sat.

[Side Quest:You can choose to decline it.]

[Side Quest: A poem describing everyone—Reward: Club members have a good impression on you—You become friends, Minimap unlocked.]

I accept?!.

I pulled out a blank paper.

---

4 flowers sat on a field,

one so bright it's radiance like a shield, but behind it a wilting thought hides, oh little flower wilting and dying.

4 Flowers flowed on a field.

The second, so timid and secretive too, she hides a behind a book thinking of you but will she notice or will she be cut away.

The third stands strong, petals sharp and bold, a stubborn bloom that fights the cold—though tough on the surface, there's warmth untold.

And last, the fourth, a gentle breeze, a carefree bloom that dances with ease, yet sometimes falls too soon, lost among the leaves.

4 flowers, all so different, yet bound by one shared earth, growing side by side in fragile rebirth.

---

Okay that was harder than i though, I barely even tried....Ugh well at least this is something. I looked at the time and it was already 4:50. Wow times for fast huh and I need to finish the side Quest of walkinh Sayori home and also the Main Quest of giving her some flowers...well I know how to do that without actually giving it to her.

She is depressed isn't she, now, the mc isn't here so what could make her more depressed...hmm, oh right maybe someone close to her died.

"Okay everybody it's time to share your poems around." Monika said with a loud voice.

Nastsuki fiddled with her paper. "I'll go first, here mark."

Huh, why is she giving me. "Why are you giving me first?."

She clicked her tongue. "Just read it?!!."

"OK. OK, don't get aggressive." I gently took the paper from her hand and silently read the poem.

---

I like sweets and cookies too.

Cats are fluffy, Dogs are stinky.

I met someone nice today.

And that made my day alright.

---

I looked at her with a smile. "This can barely be considered a poem....but, it shows what you think so the expressing yourself part is correct. I would say it's a 'cute' poem, really suits your style."

Natsuki turned with a small blush. "Of course, writing what you really like is a poem too."

I teased. "Am I that someone nice?."

She didn't turn around but humphed. "Let me read yours."
