Alice winced, curling deeper into the corner of the couch. "Do you have to say it so loud? My neighbors don't need front-row seats to my husband's history."
"Are you kidding? Everyone deserves front-row seats to this gist!" Nora grabbed a cushion and hugged it like a lifeline. "Alice, you've been sitting on this information and you didn't tell me? What kind of best friend are you?"
