The next school day, Lucas came to meet a note in his desk.
"Please meet me at the gymroom "(it had a heart emoji attached to it).
"I don't do well with proposals and stuff "he flinched .
Hana was shocked also thinking it was a proposal.
Lucas went to the rooftop and saw no one there. He put his hand over his face "The gymroom idiot ".
He went over to the gymroom and saw a girl, it was the nerdy girl was always sat by him.
Hana followed Lucas there too, "That witch".
Lucas approached her and asked what she wanted.
"I'm Ma-ri, Mari, and I wanted to know if you.....could hel-p me with my studies ", she trembled.
"That's it...??", he asked giving a sigh of relief.
Mari looked down in shame thinking she was about to be rejected.
"Sure...I'll do it then", Lucas assured.
She looked up to Lucas in tears and jumped happily, and eventually hugged him.
Hana clenched her fist.
Lucas then left for another agenda, "She's just a study partner and she knows that, so don't get all jealous and do something unnecessary ", he said, almost as if he knew Hana was following.
She pouted and claimed she wasn't jealous while all beet red.
Later, Lucas approached Kono at the library. She was quietly reading.
"I don't know you much but i do know you hate reading books", he said.
She threw a death stare at him though it was true.
"Now what's the matter", Lucas asked in a gentle tone.
She didn't want to tell him at first so she ignored the question.
Lucas then asked for the second time....but with a deadly aura
He rephrased the question this time.
"What did they do to you,Kono?"
