"For forty years, the Directorate's Department of Public Information used these consoles to suppress news of worker strikes, hide corporate pollution scandals, and broadcast fabricated war victories," Chief Broadcast Engineer Marcus reported, standing beside the glowing master control desk.
"They installed deep-packet censorship filters and neural override pulses to prevent any unauthorized journalist from speaking the truth," Marcus added, pointing toward the massive banks of glowing server racks.
