The Old Exchange Anchor began three floors below the transit district, behind a service gate that had been welded shut before the Merge. Tournament crews had cut the welds cleanly and laid cameras along the stairs, turning a sealed disaster site into another public ring.
Nox entered after Vasa, Kendra, Yeda, and Diana, while the others took their own routes through the underground complex. The tournament's contamination-clearance terms named five First Citadel representatives for the central team.
"The cameras are running on the public relay and the government relay; if one drops, the other retains the last thirty seconds," Diana said, checking the drone at her shoulder.
"Thirty seconds is enough for Rook to claim a lot of things," Kendra replied, adjusting the brace around her ribs.
"Then we give him less room to edit," Diana said.
