John was totally shocked. The two he sent to keep an eye on Logan weren't just anybody. They were both Tier 5 mages.
And both of them were killed? He couldn't believe what he just heard. Then suddenly another question arose in his mind.
"And what about the boy?" John asked hurriedly.
"The boy was taken. A coachman from the royal palace was there. When we arrived there, we found him in such a terrified state that he didn't even have the courage to move." He paused for a moment before continuing again.
"We have already dispatched one of our tracking specialists to find out his possible whereabouts. But I am afraid he…" He didn't finish his sentence.
But John didn't need more words to understand what he wanted to say.
