To charline nobody was as good as Carter was he was a person with a pure heart and very caring, she knew that she was a part of him that was never supposed to exist and how did she know such information it was from the person who gave there ancestors the power that was lost for thousands of years and she knows she is someone born to bring chaos which sometimes makes her afraid of herself after all she isn't fully aware of what she can do or when the abilities Carter carry will be a danger to both him and herself that's why she chose silence she wanted to help in the dark but she couldn't help herself seeing someone who looks exactly like Carter be it the mannerisms,speech and even eating habits were the same that's why when Auther asked to stay over she readly agreed after all she knew Carter also wanted the same but he would refuse to allow Auther to stay over because of the fear of being abandoned and she knew he remembered somethings but could never tell anyone after all he had fears too of being treated the way he was when he first went to his grandparents home. He remembered waiting for his parents but they never came let alone show up at his grandparents home, he believed they love him and they will come for him but it never happened so even though he forgot most people's faces but he still remembers the pain as if it was a fresh wound she knew that someone caring would most have an ulterior motive so he just wanted him to leave.
All Carter knew all his life was betrayal and judgement from the people around him he knew that not all people aren't like that but he experienced it many times that he gave up hope because those who pretends to care are the onces cursing him like heaven that's because he remembered his grandma cursing him for his inability to draw all over sudden but he thought that it was just due to her being too tired and also raise a child so the situation he gave reasons for everything he went though even though he knew that deep down sge never loved him let alone look his way it was laughable at some point because she also advised him not to draw it's more like she was trying to use reverse phycology to make him enable to draw for reasons unknown to him so he wondered every now and then why she told him not to draw but still wanted gim to draw what was she supposed to achieve by that but atleast she never drew that is until she died that she started drawing again which seems off it's like an instinct that prevented him from drawing like it was telling him if he drew his life would be in danger but ge never knew why sometimes he feared her as if his body knew someone he was never supposed to know.
He always wondered why she had such fears when the poor woman treated him well , clothed him and gave him shelter which his parents never did Charline was afraid, afraid of one day he would change or want to leave just like he always looks outside like he was searching for something or sometimes like he was just waiting to disappear in the thin air so why not let that loving brother stay maybe Carter will find a reason to trust in people without a reason or seeing the only the negative sides of people instead of also looking for there good characters and he should also know that there are people out there who care about him and always want to be around him and not avoid him or see him as a monster the way most of his relatives does and most of all she hoped that the misunderstanding that gas been going on for more than fifteen years to be cleared after all even a blind person could see that something was wrong with how Carter and his family were separated well that blind person includes Carter who can't always read situations because of his low EQ he never understands people's feelings well and what made matters worse was the way he was raised and lack of care and more so his unfiltered mouth which brings trouble whenever it is opened this has made a lot of people to not want to be near him and Charline has seen this many times whenever they are around people or whenever Carter is asked a question and he sees it as stupid he'll just give one that one sentence that one could see as a provocation so she always made sure that she us always the one to answer before he says something stupid.
" He can't stay here it's small and also we have to work you forgot such an important detail we have work to do tonight after all even though the boss is my friend I hate taking advantage of him after all his business needs to run so I can't be careless I need money after all just call a taxi and go back it's better that way and I don't like sny disturbance especially from your family." The coldness wnd the finality in his voice made him sound crueler than he wanted to express but there is nothing he could do or correct after all he never wanted to be understood and Charline understood it perfectly no argument she just smiled and when she tried to tell him something he immediately started walking towards the door.
She knew that a life built in fear and lack of trust and more so hurt as it's foundation can not be easily moved even by the most sincere person so she told him that she had already tolked to Kevin and told him that they both wouldn't be available and they had already found people to cover for there shift , she gave him the brightest smile as she saw the annoyance in his face but she never cared she wanted to see happiness and even a smile to make her see him happy is also her happiness that's all she wanted to give him a sincere smile and true happiness she wanted him to feel it himself not just wish he had it.
She wanted to give him the love from a family even if she had to go through hell to get Carrer to be happy she would surely do it because to her he was her everything be it her beginning and her end so she wanted to be his everything also be it good or bad she wanted to be there for him and be his everything till the end.

She never finished her thought process as she had sobs coming near her so she turned only to see aurther crying his eyes out for reasons unknown to her but well it seems like carter got himself a cry baby life will be more fun with Auther and she was ready for that of just denial to stay at Carter's place brought him to tears just imagining the future with him around already made her happy that her giggles brought the crying Auther to a stop as he looked at her as if she had grown another head which should have not been the reaction for someone pretending to be crying but after a short while he remembered what he was doing and went back to his perfect acting and what made the people around look at him in bewilderment is how he perfected his acting in just a few seconds.
