"What… what are you saying…" Kiara looked at me in disbelief, "I didn't…" She turned to look at Luna Raya, maybe for support.
Nobody could feel that I smiled under my mask when Luna Raya couldn't meet Kiara's gaze. Of course, she wasn't a fool to scream here before all the higher officials that she was the one who took me on a stroll that night.
Luna Tamia was fanning her face with her hand now.
"Your Highness," Beta Brian couldn't take it anymore, "I have known Kiara since childhood. She never lies," he cast a quick glance at me, "However, Ms. Phoenix joined us just two years back, so we can't trust her completely. I don't know what happened that night, but Ms. Phoenix seems to have some misunderstanding."
Jai was tugging his brother's hand, asking him silently to take back his seat.
"Phoenix," Beta Hunter interjected, "Are you trying to imply that Kiara is the one who took you to the lake?"
I kept looking at the floor and then nodded my head, "Yes, Beta Hunter."
