The salty breeze carried the strong scent of the sea, and as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but endless ocean.
Naruto stood on a beach, gazing at the unfamiliar waves.
"…Looks like it worked."
He lifted his hands, feeling the chakra flow smoothly through his body. Everything seemed normal—at least physically.
But as he took in the scenery, he noticed something strange.
"The natural energy here… it feels different."
He narrowed his eyes, an odd expression forming on his face.
Before he could analyze it further, his eyes landed on a figure in the distance.
A young man stood proudly on an old wooden boat.
"I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!"
With arms outstretched and a wide, fearless grin, the boy shouted toward the vast sea.
But what truly caught Naruto's attention was the straw hat on his head.
It didn't take much deduction.
His identity was obvious at a glance.
And so was the location.
This was no longer the world of shinobi.
This was the world of One Piece.
And that boy—undeniably—was the protagonist of this world:
Monkey D. Luffy.
The "Big Three"—Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece—were once the three pillars of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Now, Bleach and Naruto have ended, but One Piece sails on.
Naruto didn't think too deeply about it. His plan was simple: just follow Luffy.
After all, Luffy was the protagonist of this world—he was tied to every major event.
Stick close to him, and you're bound to encounter strong enemies, strange powers, and critical opportunities.
From low-level pirates with bounties in the tens of millions… all the way up to the Four Emperors.
Following Luffy meant your power would naturally rise with the tide.
Naruto thought, As long as I tag along and make a few strategic moves, this world will be wrapped up in no time.
Besides, this world had so many fascinating things to explore:
Devil Fruits. Haki. The Rokushiki (Six Powers). Swordsmanship. So much potential.
And with his insights and instincts, Naruto had confidence—he could master it all.
Best part? He could slowly gain access to it just by sticking with Luffy.
With his decision made, Naruto lightly tapped his foot and stepped forward—vanishing from the shore and reappearing on the surface of the sea.
He stood effortlessly over the ocean using his chakra.
"Whoa! You can stand on water? That's awesome!"
Luffy had sharp eyes—he immediately noticed the newcomer.
His jaw dropped at the "fancy trick" Naruto just pulled. Then, in typical Luffy fashion, his eyes sparkled.
"Hey! You! Be my crewmate!"
He shouted without hesitation.
"Sure, no problem."
Naruto agreed instantly.
"But first… let's deal with that thing."
Because in the world of pirates, danger is always lurking beneath the waves.
A massive shadow surged under the sea—a huge sea king rose up, jaws wide, ready to devour the small boat.
"That guy, huh? Watch this—Gomu Gomu no—!"
Luffy pulled his arms back, ready to launch his signature rubber-powered attack.
But Naruto blinked lazily, raised his hands, and clapped lightly.
A wave of chakra rippled through the air—ninjutsu was already in motion.
He'd already figured out what would be the most overpowered element in this world:
Water-Style Ninjutsu.
Surrounded by endless seawater, his chakra could easily manipulate it.
And since so many powerful individuals here were Devil Fruit users, who sank like stones when touched by seawater…
All Naruto had to do was splash them. Game over.
With a flick of his hand, several massive water dragons surged from the ocean, roaring straight toward the Sea King.
Boom!
It was over in seconds.
"Amazing! What was that?! Did you do that!?"
Luffy's eyes practically glowed with excitement.
"That was ninjutsu," Naruto replied lazily as he hopped aboard the boat and plopped down in a comfy spot.
"Ninjutsu? So you're a ninja?!"
Luffy crouched down in front of him like an excited kid. "Can I learn ninjutsu too!?"
"Well, to use ninjutsu, you need to have chakra first..."
Naruto frowned, thinking.
In the Shinobi World, chakra was formed by combining the spiritual and physical energy within the body.
But the people in this world had very… different physiques.
Could Luffy even generate chakra?
"Let me take a look."
Naruto found himself intrigued. He placed a hand on Luffy's shoulder and closed his eyes, concentrating.
A few moments later, he opened them and muttered:
"…Different body type, but it should work."
In the One Piece world, people had absurdly unique physiology.
Luffy could recover from grave injuries by eating meat and inflating like a balloon to aid digestion.
Others like Garp and Aokiji trained using wrecked warships like they were gym equipment.
Coby transformed from a weakling to a powerhouse through sheer effort.
And then there were monsters like Big Mom—her body was like living iron.
Naruto could already feel how ridiculously active Luffy's cells were.
"Well, if I start spouting theory, you won't pay attention anyway…"
Naruto chuckled and sent a stream of chakra directly into Luffy's body.
"Just feel it. Remember how it flows. Follow the path."
"Then try to control it. That's how you refine chakra."
His tone was casual, but this was already the start of Luffy's chakra training.
The boat drifted on the sea breeze, slowly sailing toward an unknown destination.
Naruto sat back and watched as Luffy meditated.
It didn't take long before Luffy's eyes snapped open—success.
This guy had been smacked around by Kaido and somehow awakened advanced Conqueror's Haki.
Saw someone shave once and instantly learned the Navy's Soru technique.
His talent was honestly terrifying.
Still, Naruto had to admit—he taught it well.
Chakra control and refinement were the most fundamental basics of shinobi training.
"Now then… what kind of ninjutsu suits a guy like you?"
Naruto rubbed his chin.
Hand seals? Probably not—Luffy couldn't sit still long enough.
But there was one answer that fit perfectly…
The Eight Gates.
Luffy's body was made of rubber. His muscles, bones, and even meridians were elastic and durable.
Think about Gear Second—he accelerated his blood flow, raised his body temperature, and even steamed like a pressure cooker.
Wasn't that just like opening the Eight Gates?
As long as he didn't open the final gate—the Gate of Death—it should be fine.
Even opening just four or five gates would give him an enormous boost.
And if he did go all the way… Naruto could still save him.
Luffy had already awakened the power of the Sun God Nika.
Who's to say that form couldn't overcome even the fatal recoil of the Death Gate?
Fast forward to that iconic battle with Kaido—
Luffy awakened into Nika…
And launched Night Guy with the Death Gate wide open.
