Arriving at the home Shurry has visited multiple times throughout the last two months, it wasn't an unusual sight, however, this time it felt a little different, his tail fluffed and flared like he was on edge.
"Hmm, Empress was right, you really do go all wolfed out around Amazonesses." Zald chuckled for a moment, then went right back to his stoic serious self. "You'll be meeting a bunch of other people today, try to stay calm."
"Huh? Who am I meeting?"
"That guy right there, with white beard, and an excessively youthful appearance."
"Oh? The guy wearing a rug on his face?" He said, walking inside.
It was Zeus, the patron god of Zeus familia. "A rug? That's a new one." He chuckled, getting a good look at the young werewolf. "Damn, Hathor, what do you say about giving this child to me?"
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!"
Zeus flinched in a rare moment where Hera and Hathor both shouted at the same time. "Yikes! What's so wrong with that?"
"Mommy told me you're a pervy old man." Shurry said, still super on edge. However, he ran over to the Amazoness that he'd not registered as good yet, and sniffed until he was done.
"Oh come on, you call me pervy when he's going around sniffing women like that? He's a fair bit pervy already."
This time Empress glared like she was about to run Zeus through. "I guess you don't remember what happened then?"
Hera proceeded to pull Zeus out of the room by his ear, Hathor followed after them out of a sense of responsibility to see how Zeus reacts to the news. It was once they were in the sound-proof side room that Zeus dropped the facade.
"You mean to tell me that little boy went through something like that?"
"Yes, that precious boy was traumatized by the horrifying things he went through that night. He had been teetering on the edge of life and death for days." Hathor confirmed.
"You looked all the way back at it? You're brave… I don't think I'd have done that."
"It's different when it's your child… I wanted to know the full extent of what went on."
Zeus sighed and sat down. "Alright, so, he does that sniffing thing to register their scents as good people… Seems like the event was far worse than I was led to believe, and that's hard to fool me. He also seems to be as terrified as a soul could possibly be, when he sees one of them."
"He's also helped in the fight against the Leviathan."
Zeus thought for a moment, then came out and asked. "Hathor, what's his current status?"
"I haven't bothered to update him past, I, in all his stats. But he's level 3 for sure."
"I mean the hidden ones."
"Exceptionally high."
"What about that spirit that's with him?"
"Her name is Luna, and she's adorable."
"Is he happy in your familia?"
"Yes, he seems to really enjoy being around everyone."
"Alright, we'll keep the current arrangement then. As much as I'd like to add him to my own ranks. It's for the best if someone super strong remains in Orario. Never know when that idiot Ares leads another doomed campaign."

Having already set up the plan in advance, the total of four Amazonesses in the Hera familia had gone through a sort of queue, each having been properly understood to be good ones. At first they had been against the idea as a whole, but once told why… Well, it was pretty clear they didn't want to accidentally be killed.
"Now that we're done with that. Shurry, we've planned on departing tomorrow, all of the required items for our expedition have been acquired, I just need to know what else you might require." A powerful looking man, one no less weak than Empress, spoke in an oddly soothing tone.
"Hmm?" Shurry got up, and walked over to Empress, and climbed up. It was a short moment and the hug took over. "I still have nightmares about the past. Mommy holds me like this when they happen."
Empress, flushing ever so slightly red… "Oh, I see. Well I won't always be able to do that. But those twins might enjoy having a cuddly wolf."
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, about that. I need those gigantic crystals I keep hearing about. The monster rex ones… It'll help me grow my healing capabilities."
"Oh, that changes things a bit. Usually the strategy is to destroy the crystals." Maxim said, rubbing his chin in ponderance. "Should be an interesting challenge to take on. We'll fight that way for the Goliath, to try it out first. Then we'll see just how you improve this healing ability of yours. I'd also like to know how and why it will work beforehand."
Shurry winced, worried that they might try and steal his friend from him. "Uhm…" He looked to Leon, who nodded with a smile. "Okay, you can come out, Luna." Luna appeared, seated on his shoulder. "This is my best friend, Luna, I met her when I was still in Telskyura. I have a magic skill that allows me to empower and strength her, but it requires a mind boggling amount of magic power. So I thought maybe if I use the stones that can't be extracted from the dungeon, that I'll be able to pull it off faster than just using my own mind for it."
"Is that a real spirit in this day?!" Some shouted in a gleefully, excited, shock.
Maxim, stunned silent for a moment, cleared his throat. "Very well, The Zeus familia will take on this quest. To empower and strengthen a spirit, truly an interesting goal, I'm eager to see what can happen."
"If I get big and strong enough, I can make a split off of myself that'll permanently keep pushing back at that weird soul sickness those two have." Luna cheered, nibbling on a small cookie.
Empress smiled, a spirit was right there in front of her. Sure, the gods themselves were already in the world, but unlike them, Spirits were allowed to use their powers. "So, you're level 3, but you're capable of far more than aren't you?"
"He's capable of temporarily raising his speed to something nearing level 7 while the rest is nearing level 6." Leon answered, recalling the Leviathan fight. "That reaction time when he diverted all of those tentacles… It still amazes me."
"You're just a bundle of surprises aren't you."
"Huh? Big monsters aren't that scary, not nearly as scary as amazonesses are."
Everyone laughed, and then died down to a light hearted chuckle.
