Once Artemis had completely made her exit, Shurry looked around, and then transformed back to normal. For some reason he couldn't stop his tail from wagging side to side. It wasn't fast, nor erratic, just a slow fluid like motion. It was obvious that he was beyond curious about what just happened.
"Mommy? What did Aunty want with me?" Shurry asked, looking up to Idunn, his ears wiggling. "And why did I smell one of them on her?"
Idunn giggled. "She didn't believe us when we mentioned you." She said, rubbing Shurry's head. "And as for that scent on her. She has a really nice girl in her familia, one who fights evil and spreads justice."
"Justice?" Shurry half-mindedly uttered in return, as he thought about something else. "So, that means she's a good person? Not a bad person?"
"Yep, she was a little disappointed that she'd have to see you from afar but, she understood that you had challenges no one should ever have to deal with." Idunn smiled. He's growing stronger, day by day. And he's also recovering nicely. If he keeps this up, He'll be fine when we stop in Orario.
…
Time continued to pass, day by day. And slowly but surely he was continuing to improve his status, as well as his movements. Over time he managed to acquire full control over his new freakish level power, and was now capable of safely sparring with anyone else, other than the resident tank in Leon. It took a year, but… at 4 years old, Shurry had become a welcome member of the School District, as well as the school mascot. He has his utterly adorable cuteness to thank for that.
It was this time that Baldr decided to update Shurry's status one last time…

"Hmm, I think you're ready for a mission." Baldr said, as he wrote down Shurry's new status. There wasn't any change in his skills, or magic but he gained something that he could train to make him faster. "In fact, I'd be comfortable with you handling some of the dungeon's floors alone." He added, with a kind smile.
"Mission?" Shurry asked, with an inquisitive look on his face.
"Yes, a mission. And I have a perfect one for you. There's a small mountain village that sent an order for some potions. You and another will go on this trip." Baldr said, having the other person come in. "This here is Legi Gigi, She's a level 1, but her current abilities are rather good. And she's important to the completion of this mission."
"Okay! This'll be fun!" Shurry said with an excitedly wagging tail.
However, Legi was so surprised about this matter that she couldn't think of what to say. She hated doing things with others, but Shurry was cute enough that… "I guess I can work with him." She muttered.
Baldur smiled, with a light chuckle. "Good, it's nice to finally see you smile, my child."
After a little more talking to get the details, Shurry and Legi left Baldr's office. Baldr then spoke. "I don't think I need to explain how important your part in this mission is, do I?"
"No Lord Baldr, I completely understand. And I won't intervene lest I deem it absolutely essential." Malik answered his god. "Though, if I must go, I must also remind my lord, that the child has a spirit and can utilize strength well beyond most anyone."
"And yet, he is still but a four year old boy." Baldr sighed. "Idunn's going to take issue with this, isn't she…"
…
It was a little later when Shurry and Legi had left the giant floating ship, when Idunn was ripping into Baldr. The words she used were so colorful and elaborate that she mixed numerous languages together just to really make it known she had completely run out of colorful words. And then she started the cycle over again.
Bragi and Var were struggling to hold their sides, the sight was too funny. Seeing the two married love birds have a fight like this, it was like a rare delicacy. And the fact it went on for hours, made it that much better.
Finally, Idunn calmed down enough, to speak calmly, still with a tear. "How could you send him on a mission just like that? He's still just a little boy right now. He needs me-"
Baldr interrupted. "No, Idunn, my love. It is you who needs him…" He said and then waited, as Idunn sat down. "Furthermore, there's still that request right there… Like I was about to say before you let out your feelings, Hera still searches for methods of healing those two. And I'm confident that Shurry is the absolute last chance those two girls have." He explained.
Idunn picked up a ragged piece of paper, slightly falling apart at the edges. "You want him to gain some more experience before going into that den of crazy women."
"He needs confidence, and a whole lot of it. I also asked Leon about what I should do to generate that confidence. His opinion on these matters usually lines up well with what the students need. And he said confidence through experience is the best method."
"He did train Shurry for the last year. And for that matter so did I. Do I really still just want my own son to snuggle with?" She started crying again.
Bragi and Var sighed. "We'll leave the two of you alone now. I'm sure this will be a long and fruitful night." The pair of deities left. Each knowing what happens to lovers in that particular situation.
"They're going to be going at it, aren't they?" Var giggled.
"Yep, it's been awhile, and they still hopelessly cling to the vain hope, the one that Idunn thinks she'll finally have a kid of her own that way." Bragi sighed. "I feel bad for her."
