As soon as Axel stepped into the hotel room where Marlon was staying, he barely had time to close the door behind him before Marlon stripped off all his disguise. The boy tossed aside his wig and cap, revealing his real face beneath the layers of makeup and shadows. Then, still studying Axel's face with a kind of curious wonder, he tilted his head and muttered,
"Big brother, you don't even look older than me anymore. We look like we're the same age."
Axel let out a small sigh and gave a faint nod. "Yeah," he said, lowering himself onto the couch, "but I'll still always be your big brother. That's something you can't change."
Marlon chuckled and nodded too, then walked over to where Axel sat. Without warning, he knelt down beside him, placing his hands on Axel's leg as he looked up at him with wide, pleading eyes.
"Big brother, really… can't you teach me the skill of dying and jumping into another body? I want to jump into a body that's younger than mine too."
