The Nine-Tails' bloodshot eyes locked onto Kakashi, opening its mouth to swallow him whole.

The Nine-Tails squeezed its left eye shut, letting out a pained roar.
Instinctively covering his own left eye, Shindai winced as though he felt the pain too.
The Nine-Tails' roar blew Kakashi flying backward.
Quick as a flash, Shindai shot forward and caught Kakashi mid-air.
"You actually thought of that? Sticking Nine-Tails in the eyes."
Kakashi sighed helplessly. "I had no choice. Nine-Tails' eyes appeared to be the weakest point, but... it doesn't seem effective."
Nine-Tails was made entirely of chakra. Although Kakashi struck its eye directly, it quickly recovered and opened again.
The beast had grown even more furious. It broke free from Shindai's Magnetic Release: Magnet Dragon Meteorite and swung its massive arm toward both Shindai and Kakashi.
Originally, Shindai had planned to flee with Kakashi, but there was no need anymore.

Obito used Kamui to twist and snap off Nine-Tails' arm.
Shindai shouted at Obito, "Obito, use your Mangekyo Sharingan to take control of Nine-Tails!"

"Why not?" Shindai asked, puzzled.
Hikaku explained, "Although the Mangekyo Sharingan can indeed control Tailed Beasts through genjutsu, the amount of eye-based power required is enormous. It also needs to be continuously maintained; otherwise, a few seconds of control is meaningless. Right now, Nine-Tails is already under another person's Sharingan genjutsu. Setsuna Uchiha instantly vanished, reappearing right beside Minato. The ninja sword in his hand came dangerously close to Minato's neck.
As the blade was about to strike, Minato activated the Flying Thunder God and teleported away.
The missed strike angered Setsuna, who scoffed coldly, "You're pretty quick, but you can't keep evading forever, Minato Namikaze."
Setsuna disappeared from his spot.
Meanwhile, Shindai was completely overwhelmed. What was he supposed to do now?
Kakashi, gripped tightly by Shindai, cried out anxiously, "Oh no! The Nine-Tails is forming another Tailed Beast Ball!"
Shindai used his headset to contact Hikaku Uchiha, shouting, "Asu Natsuka, send your chakra to me!"
Immediately after Shindai finished speaking, his body pulsed with rich chakra.

Hikaku Uchiha emerged not far from Shindai and the others, activating his Mangekyo Sharingan and unleashing black flames of Amaterasu across the Nine-Tails' body.
"Kagutsuchi!"
The dark flames of Amaterasu instantly engulfed the Nine-Tails, halting its movements as it burned violently.
The Nine-Tails roared painfully, yet during its howl, red Tailed Beast chakra wrapped around the flames and peeled them off its body.
Frowning, Hikaku clicked his tongue, grumbling, "Figures, it didn't work."
