Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Kunai [Fire Seed]

"Gulp gulp gulp..."

A big bowl of meat soup was finished. Kevin wiped his meaty hand across his mouth. "No need to talk about all that nonsense anymore."

Yenichi choked a bit, then thought for a moment and asked directly, "I saw the senior officers' ships already leaving the port one after another. So, you chose not to transfer to the Headquarters, right?"

Kevin replied, "Afterwards, I will return to the 80th Marine Branch in the West Sea. I won't be going to Headquarters."

"I see."

Yenichi looked a bit disappointed. After a brief polite exchange, he turned and left.

It was obvious that this guy, who had executed Roger with him, had his true goal set on the Marine Headquarters.

But whether it was to join this term's elite class or just to head to the Grand Line was unclear.

Kevin didn't think much about it and, after eating his fill, headed toward the forge on the commercial street.

He still had many things to handle. Last night, he contacted Dorag via Den Den Mushi, asking him to wait for three more days.

After the Golden Treasure Chest opened the Flying Thunder God Technique from the Naruto world, many plans became much easier to implement.

Using physical strength instead of chakra to create a spatial coordinate and attach it to an object or person, enabling instant spatial teleportation.

How it worked exactly, he didn't know — but the power from another world had manifested in this one. That was simply the rule.

The coordinate could even move short distances and could attach to an enemy.

Note: This was shown in the anime when Minato saved Kakashi.

In his memories of the Naruto world, after Minato died, the coordinate left on Obito didn't disappear until he became the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, at which point it was erased.

He still didn't know if Haki's power could erase this coordinate. After all, it was based on physical strength and consumed like a Devil Fruit ability.

And Haki could nullify Devil Fruit powers.

Soon, cloaked and masked Kevin arrived at the place where he had ordered the special kunai.

...

"I've never seen a weapon like this before," the middle-aged blacksmith said. "The forked trident shape lets you block your opponent's weapon, but being one inch shorter makes it dangerous. Such a short weapon just looks like a throwing dart."

The blacksmith wasn't highly skilled, but he had been making farm tools in Rogue Town for a long time.

Kevin had paid him to rush three special kunai by today.

Kevin took the finished products, examined them, and tossed one casually.

As expected, forged by a blacksmith from the East Blue, it clearly didn't meet ninja weapon standards — at least the accuracy wasn't great.

But... it met the requirements.

At this moment, Kevin felt something flowing inside him. A certain substance formed through his palm, becoming a black fluid, spreading onto the handle of the special kunai.

[Fire Seed]

Two square characters of a seal appeared and then solidified.

Kevin could now clearly sense the spatial coordinate point on the weapon. After consuming physical strength, he could instantly move his body to that coordinate.

"By the way... you promised ten million Beli if the weapons were ready today."

Kevin flipped the kunai into his hand, then pulled out a roll of money and tossed it over — exactly ten million Beli.

"Cash and carry."

As Kevin turned to leave, he paused and glanced at the owner still counting money.

"Loguetown is near Reverse Mountain. The Marine Branch already has records of you making weapons for pirates. This is part of your payment. Think carefully."

The ambiguous words made the blacksmith freeze mid-count, stunned.

The Marine Branch in Loguetown had noticed him? No way!

There were many weapon shops in this town; selling weapons to pirates was a matter of survival for these stores. Why would they single him out?

His pupils dilated wide. He hurriedly began packing. He had to run immediately.

Kevin smiled and left.

...

Back in the basement of the general store, after sending out a shadow clone to relax, cloaked and masked Kevin arrived.

"Yo? It's not easy to see alcohol here."

Kevin sat opposite Dorag.

Dorag replied, "This alcohol is for you. I heard you've visited every decent tavern in Rogue Town. This is wine from the South Sea. You can try it."

Kevin said, "Those were just to fool people. Also, I made you wait three days for an important reason."

He placed three special kunai on the table. Dorag picked them up and looked closely at the two square characters on the handle.

"These are weapons?"

Dorag was puzzled. If these were just three oddly shaped weapons, they wouldn't be worth waiting three days for.

After absorbing the chaotic knowledge from the book Core ideology, he had benefited a lot.

Only then did he agree to wait.

He knew the entire Loguetown was under search by Marines and the World Government during these three days.

But now...

"They're not just weapons," Kevin explained.

"The two characters on them represent spatial coordinates. I want you to help me make a thousand of these weapons, and also take these three with you."

"Spatial coordinates?"

Dorag said, "Your Devil Fruit abilities have many forms."

Kevin changed the subject, "I can go back and forth between coordinates. Also, I can carry a limited amount of items or even people, limited by my physical strength."

Dorag was stunned.

Carrying items or people...

These two points immediately raised the strategic value of the ability.

The world was divided by the Red Line and the Calm Belt into four seas and the Grand Line. So it was very difficult for the Revolutionary Army to transport supplies between the seas.

Whether via Marine secret routes or through Reverse Mountain into the Grand Line, it was always a gamble.

Why was Golden Lion Shiki not executed after breaking into Marine Headquarters recently? Because the Marines feared the Devil Fruit's special mobility appearing again on the seas.

Bang!

Dorag slammed his hands on the table and stood up.

"Kevin! Join me. You said your position is the same as mine. Now, it's not just about ideology — the foundation and future of the Revolutionary Army needs you!"

"With your abilities, the Revolutionary Army will definitely have a voice in this world that no one can ignore!"
