"It's for the restaurant that I am working at. Don't meddle in my business too much." The older girl furrowed her brows. She glanced at the person in charge and told him. "I will talk to my boss later whether he agrees with the price or not, Mr. Wang."
"I will take my leave now." Jiang Meiling excused herself, walking toward the exit without looking back at all. On the way out, she clenched her fists.
Jiang Yuxue returned to her calm self after she made such a ruckus. A look of embarrassment crossed her face, but she quickly adjusted her expression.
"What kind of grain do you have, Mr. Wang?" She spoke in a normal tone, a little politely, but still had the aura of arrogance on her. Since she had assumed this role to be safe, she needed to act consistently.
"We have–" his voice was cut off by a call from a phone on the table.
"Nevermind." Jiang Yuxue glanced at the phone on the table and waved her hand. Impatience painted on her face. "Just send all the grains available to an address. I will send the address to you later and you can tell me how much it cost."
There was a look of anxiety on Mr. Wang's face. She scrunched her face when she saw that he didn't immediately agree. "Is there something wrong? Well, answer the call first and give me your response later."
She folded her arms on her chest, her chin raised proudly. Her look said, as if she was sure that Mr. Wang would agree to her request. He wouldn't be able to refuse. With that, she sent the address to Mr. Wang's number that she got from the promotional poster on the table.
Mr. Wang stole a glance at her before he picked up the phone and called out the other party's name. "President Li."
Jiang Yuxue's thin frame stiffened. She lifted her eyes. Her gaze zeroed on the phone on Mr. Wang's hand. It couldn't be too much of a coincidence, right?
"Yes, we have some available grains here. Our boss wasn't lying, but…" he dragged his last word while glancing at Jiang Yuxue. "Someone already purchased it."
"Oh, you want to double the price? We appreciate your offer, President Li, but it's not ours anymore now." Mr. Wang's words earned a look of approval from Jiang Yuxue's face. What an honest person. She continued to listen to their conversation. "You want to talk to the person who purchased it, President Li?"
"Uhh." Mr. Wang scratched his head and cautiously looked at Jiang Yuxue, who had been silently listening to the conversation on the phone since earlier. "Miss… do you want to talk to President Li?"
