Chapter 1 - Introduction

I'm Olivia James, a human. My parents died in a car accident when I was just a child, leaving me with nothing but memories and a deep sense of loss. After that tragedy, my mom's best friend, Aunt Emma, took me in. She's an omega in the Moon Stone pack, a rank that comes with its own set of challenges and prejudices.

Growing up, life in the pack wasn't easy for me. I was treated like an outsider, a human among wolves, and the kids never invited me to play. Their whispers and sidelong glances were constant reminders that I didn't belong. But Aunt Emma's love and care kept me going, and I found solace in books and dreams of a world beyond the pack.

As I got older, I knew I needed to care out my own path. I shifted my studies to the human world, where I found acceptance and opportunities I could only dream of in the pack. I worked hard, eventually earning a master's degree.

Now, I've made a name for myself as a social influencer. With a large following, I use my platform to challenge those who exploit and mistreat the weak. I'm not afraid to speak up, to be the voice for those who are too afraid or too powerless to fight back. My journey has made me stronger, and I'm determined to make a difference, both in the human world and in the pack that once made me feel so small.

My apartment isn't anything fancy—a modest one-bedroom that serves its purpose. I've never been one to indulge in luxuries; most of my earnings go towards helping those who are struggling, the ones society often forgets. It gives me a sense of purpose, knowing I'm making a difference, even if it's small.

One day, I got a call from the pack. Aunt Emma wasn't doing well. Her fated mate had died in a rogue attack, leaving her heartbroken and alone. Since then, I've been her only family. She works tirelessly as a maid in the pack house, despite my constant pleas for her to come live with me. But she's stubborn, always brushing off my offers with a gentle smile and a shake of her head.

Rumors have been swirling around the pack, though. They say Aunt Emma had an affair with the former Alpha. Whether it's true or just pack gossip, I don't know. What I do know is that his son, Aiden, now rules the pack, and he's the biggest jerk I've ever come across. His arrogance and cold-heartedness have earned him the title of the number one asshole in the entire country, and from what I've heard, he wears it like a bAiden's reputation precedes him, and not in a good way. He's ruthless, cold, and commands the pack with an iron fist. His decisions are often harsh, showing little regard for those beneath him. The stories I've heard about his conquests and merciless tactics make my blood boil. He's everything I despise in a leader—selfish, arrogant, and power-hungry.

But it's not just his leadership that's infuriating. Aiden is a notorious womanizer, a man-whore who treats omegas like they're disposable, using them as casually as the sun rises every morning. His disregard for their feelings and dignity is appalling, and yet, he continues his ways without a shred of remorse. It's like he believes the world revolves around his desires, and no one dares to challenge him because of his status.

I've crossed paths with him a few times, and each encounter leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. He looks down on everyone, especially me—a human who dares to stand up to him. But I'm not afraid of him. I've faced too much in life to be intimidated by a man like Aiden. If anything, his attitude only fuels my determination to fight for what's right.

Despite his cruel nature and despicable behavior, the pack seems to follow him blindly, either out of fear or respect for his lineage. It's frustrating to see how much control he wields, especially when I know how much better things could be if someone with compassion and integrity were in charge. But challenging Aiden is no easy feat
