Shawn learned his first real Prophetic Spell from the Crowmen, but the low-tier Prophetic Spells aren't that useful. He can only use divination to predict fortune and misfortune, and cannot glimpse images of the future. Truly powerful Prophetic Spells can see events that have occurred in the past and events that may happen in the future.

Shawn took out the staff left to him by Lady Hecate, the strange relic called 'Crossroads', which he hadn't used much because he simply couldn't perform any Prophetic Spells before.
