Gauss is an Eye Demon.
Strictly speaking, it is a recently advanced Lesser Eye Demon, because like Shawn, it too is a reincarnated soul entering the Otherworld within the Bizarre Realm.
Gauss comes from an extremely distant world, a place called the Gray Eagle Realm. Gauss is just the common language pronunciation of its name, and at the time, all the Lesser Eye Demons born in the same batch were called Gauss Eye Demons. Since many names of the Eye Demons consist of strange and incomplete syllables, the outside world customarily uses the common language for transliteration. In this peculiar place called the Bizarre Realm, Gauss was surprised to find that the common language used here was similar, suggesting that some of the civilization's heritage comes from the Forgotten Realm.
