After blowing off the head of that bizarre Lizardman at close range, Shawn swiftly scavenged the spoils and began to retreat. He had to first find a safe place. The Wizard Path is somewhat different from other Transcendent paths; Shawn needs a safe area to rest and recover Magic Power, while the Warrior Path can cut through enemies as long as they have strength. However, a Wizard's meditation to recover takes at least several hours. If it's an Otherworld outside the Bizarre Realm, the Caster needs at least eight hours of meditation to fully recover.
Shawn quickly found the back of a bare hillside; there weren't many plants nearby, just a pile of rocks, without any forewarning from his intuition it should be temporarily safe.
He hastily set up the ritual, extracting the Extraordinary Relic formed from the monster's condensation, understanding a new Spell through mystical knowledge.
