Chapter 18 - Chapter 16: Ways to Make Money

After breakfast, Li Qing lay on the bed in his rented room, staring at the ceiling in boredom. He pondered for over ten minutes but couldn't come up with a way to make money.

Pretend to be a God Stick, hooded and veiled, to deceive the rich?

With my level of Telekinesis, it's like performing by lifting a strand of cotton in front of others?

Any Superpower performance by a magician looks more like a Superpower. This ability makes even me embarrassed to show it, let alone flaunt it publicly.

Then sell my sports car?

After all, my garage is quite large; I could get a microscopic cell sports car, and the Nobel Prize would be a sure thing.

The three Nobel Prizes in 2016 were all for primitive nanorobots, and that nanocart compared to my sports car is simply worlds apart.

But then what?

Would I, a psychiatrist, suddenly become a gene technology engineering research expert, a genius of the ages? The focus of global attention? Interviews, tech magazines, swiftly in the spotlight?

The fame would be overwhelming.

Upon careful consideration, neither the abilities of Telekinesis nor Awakening could surprisingly make money.

"It seems, the third Superpower is the only one that can make money."

Li Qing seriously stroked his chin, pondering, "Hormones can indeed make money. They're very alluring to women, so getting a sugar mommy, finding a wealthy bacteria lady, and just lying down, the money would roll in effortlessly."

But upon further thought, I don't know many wealthy women in the end.

1. The rich old lady next door.

2. A lesbian who has no interest in me.

But as I say this, a dignified Outer God in the world of Outer Heaven, having to rely on a sugar mommy to support my Church is a bit too interesting a storyline.

The more he thought about it, the more it gave him a headache.

Bored, he could only observe the camera surveillance images on his phone.

In the image.

The ocean was teeming with microscopic organisms, coral reefs, ocean forests, and shell houses.

The streets were crowded with the Sea Race, with sunlight filtering through the water, immersing the mythical Sea Kingdom in a magnificently extreme color spectrum.

The Tower of Babel had been built one layer higher.

It looked like they were constructing a layer in half a day.

At this national level of effort, with billions of people in solidarity, the Heaven-Reaching Tower might be finished in three to four days, and they would be ready to move against me.

Li Qing looked at the surveillance image on his phone and suddenly thought of something, "Right, just randomly edit the surveillance footage into a beautiful CG scene and upload it online to make money from views."

Long-term, of course, he couldn't rely on video production for a living.

Not to mention, treating cancer in the future and cashing in on the wealthy could even make one treatment enough for lifelong financial security, safe, discreet, and convenient. Money will never be a worry in the future.

"A transition for a month is enough for now."

Li Qing immediately took action, opened his laptop, and pulled up the surveillance footage.

"First, I must be low-key, as low-key as possible!"

"Can't cut other footage, exposing all kinds of information, just create a distant beautiful CG, show people walking in a city street, mainly selling the image, aiming at a literati video group with a fresh style."

Li Qing thought for a moment and felt that the underwater city video footage was a great excuse to hide information by riding on novel IP or movie IP and making fan videos.

The audience, with preconceived notions, watching wouldn't easily detect any issues.

Online conversation like this: [Yes! I am a loyal fan of this IP! The video is a fan work! What? You say the scene doesn't match? Sorry, technical skills are limited, the modeling style is a bit off, but you have to trust I am a real fan.]

He sorted out the basic logic and started looking for large IPs to make quick money.

The lake in Harry Potter?

Couldn't latch on.

The underwater city in One Piece?

He was a bit anxious. The style was off; would he be harshly criticized?

Naruto?

This is Water Country, underwater ninjas?

It's already selling sheep's head and selling dog meat.

He scoured various famous IPs and finally landed on a popular story recently, Cthulhu's underwater sleeping city, R'lyeh.

Admittedly, the chaotic underwater stitched-cell organisms inside it are quite suitable, with the deep-sea biological style being very bizarre. Furthermore, this IP is popular both abroad and domestically.

So it went.

In half an hour.

Li Qing randomly cut a ten-minute segment of this morning's surveillance footage from the underwater city.

Military patrols capturing church members in the city, street fights, two soldiers on the street riding strange large creatures fighting, neighbors chatting.

He uploaded the video on Bilibili and YouTube, and wrote the video title:

[One Day in the Underwater City of R'lyeh, Awakening Cthulhu!]

And the video's thumbnail was a beautiful picture of an underwater city with a line of text:

[Exhausting myself! Spent 197 hours, frame by frame polishing, the mythological underwater city of R'lyeh animation!]

He understood the nature of short videos now.

To incorporate more information, the video image would also add introductory text to attract clicks.

And upon opening the video, there's a sob story introduction below:

[I lost all my hair staying up for this video, in this era dominated by marketing accounts, I hope well-crafted efforts receive likes!]

[Wuwuwu, little UP's month-long effort, hope it doesn't end up with just a few thousand views again! High-resolution video couldn't be uploaded, there's a link pinned in the comments for download.]

He uploaded it along with a sob story.

He's not worried it won't get popular, as Bilibili's artisanal-type videos, with hundreds of hours put into them, have a high chance of going viral.

"Turns out, when it comes to making money, putting in some effort does pave a way." After finishing this, Li Qing didn't think much of it.

In the afternoon, he went for fitness training again.

Since yesterday, Li Qing didn't let the fitness coach or Susan, who came to teach him fitness, come over anymore.

Because some of the training volumes were already inhuman.

His muscle density is now quite high, his build not bulky, yet much more formidable than some muscular men with explosive power.

And at this point, saying it's fitness is more like a form of testing.

"Weightlifting, long jump, high jump, I've already broken human records, this is the difference in biological gene forms."

Li Qing came off the treadmill, noticing that he wasn't sweating as much, just using a towel for a quick wipe.

"Humans indeed have limits, this is the genetic ceiling, no matter how much one trains, one can't sprint a hundred meters in nine seconds, yet a cheetah casually sprints a hundred meters in six or seven seconds."

"Tigers, without deliberate training, naturally have sleek muscular bodies, with muscle making up more than half their weight, this is written in their genes."

"And human muscles are inherently soft, even for muscular men, without continuous training, the muscles quickly vanish."

From this angle, individual training's impact is limited, while genetic structure and racial heritage affect everything in life.

Due to environmental constraints, he still hasn't tested his hundred-meter dash.

But he feels he doesn't need to, as he should easily be able to run a hundred meters in five or six seconds now, breaking human limits.

"Feels like the training is about done, this aspect can come to a close, and I can temporarily stay away from the gym."

In the sunlight, Li Qing flashed a gentle smile, donned sunglasses, and leisurely walked home on the street.
