The surge in population initially posed a tremendous food pressure on the Dragon Nest Tribe. The population of twenty thousand meant that last year's stored food was completely consumed.
Fortunately, for some unknown reason, large herds migrated past, and with the introduction of new bronze weapons, the hunting efficiency of the Dragon Nest Beastmen was significantly improved. They were able to continuously procure large amounts of meat from the forest every day.
At the same time, animal husbandry within the Dragon Nest Tribe also reached a certain level, coupled with the use of rope nets made from last year's harvested kudzu vines during the cold winter. They were also able to catch large amounts of fish from rivers and lakes, which, to some extent, alleviated the food crisis in the Dragon Nest Tribe, allowing them to barely sustain themselves.
During this period, the Dragon Nest Beastmen did not neglect the tasks of reclamation and cultivation.
