The weather's getting a bit chilly, so I was worried Ji Xiaoxiao might be cold.
Qiao Yuxian chatted with her for a bit outside, then pulled her into the living room.
In the living room, Aunt Mei first poured hot water for the two of them.
Ji Xiaoxiao sat on the sofa, holding a water cup in both hands to warm her hands.
Qiao Yuxian sat in a single-seater sofa, looked at her, and after a while asked, "Got something you want to tell me?"
"No," Ji Xiaoxiao answered bluntly.
"Oh." Qiao Yuxian raised an eyebrow.
"Can't I come over just to sit around?" Ji Xiaoxiao said.
"Of course, you can," Qiao Yuxian said, "I'd love for you to live here, saves me the trouble of running back and forth to your place."
"Who asked you to run?" Ji Xiaoxiao said, "Seeing you so often, I'm getting tired of it."
"I don't believe it," Qiao Yuxian said.
"Believe it or not, up to you," Ji Xiaoxiao said.
Qiao Yuxian chuckled, stopped teasing her, and said, "Seriously, what's up?"
