Marcus sat in the car waiting for the girls. He already knew they would take forever to get dressed. Bellezza finished early and came out to join him. She could have stayed to help the girls but she chose to come to him, and that alone told him she wanted to talk.
"What's going on?" Bellezza asked as she sat beside him and closed the door. She had been worried all morning, and the fact that he refused to talk to anyone scared her even more. "Brother, do not hide anything from me."
"I am not hiding anything from you, Bella. I am angry and hurt at the same time," Marcus said quietly. He looked toward Angela's window. No one was watching. "I spoke to the boys last night."
Bellezza let out a long sigh and rolled her eyes. She wondered why he kept going after the boys. "So?"
"I felt something was wrong after I left with Angela, so I went back to the academy to check. I found out Eliza was killed by one of the boys. I don't know which one yet."
