A succession of earthly light spheres instantly descended, crashing onto the massive ruins of the city.
The original Angel Emperor could only use the last of his life to hold them off briefly. After his death, they resolutely joined forces again to create that enormous light sphere that destroyed the entire land.

Hundreds of billions of people, and most could not completely disperse.
In an instant, the earth collapsed, the entire city was enveloped as if by a huge comet crashing down.
Most Maya mortals were engulfed.
The light dissipated quickly, and everyone was horrified to discover....
The ruins remained ruins.
Buildings, steel, soil, still stood firmly, without any collapse.
However, all the mortals had melted, their flesh disintegrated and decayed.
