As Zhou Shen sat on the floor looking bewildered, unsure of what to do, the refrigerator door beside him was pushed open.
Chen Mang slowly emerged from the fridge, leaning on a cane, while Zhang Yi stood beside him, holding a chair in his hand.
"Zhou Shen?"
Chen Mang sat on the chair, examining the seemingly ordinary middle-aged man in front of him. After a pause, he spoke softly, "Do you know why you are here?"
"..."
Upon seeing Chen Mang, Zhou Shen let out a sigh of relief. Since it was clear he had been kidnapped, the matter became easier to handle. It was merely a matter of communication; he was worried it might be a vendetta. As long as it wasn't a deadly grudge, any issue could be discussed slowly.
His heart calmed down.
After his mind spun quickly for a few moments, he hesitantly said, "I have never made enemies in my life. You seem to be someone of extraordinary bearing, not just a henchman but the one in charge, yet I've never seen you before."
