When Lin Li and Bai Bufan detached themselves from the World of Dark Beasts, the girls had already moved next door.
"Are they really picking something? Are we actually buying this?"
As the two of them approached, seeing Ding Sihan asking the owner for a plastic display case and beginning to make her selection, Lin Li asked in surprise.
For boarding high school students, there isn't much worth raising here.
"It's for my niece to play with; I promised her before." Ding Sihan replied.
So young with a niece already, Ding Sihan is quite the old soul.
"A girl opting for a turtle over a goldfish? Your niece is something else." Lin Li remarked.
Feeling as though Lin Li was berating her, Ding Sihan still rolled her eyes and said, "Given my niece's personality, she can't manage regular water changes. Better to raise a turtle; at least it won't die so soon."
"Then wouldn't it be easier to change fish regularly?" Lin Li shrugged.
