Vespera Bennett frowned at Ian Wang's words, clearly disagreeing. "Weren't you planning to get what you want out of him? If you kill him, how are you supposed to get your hands on it?"
Ian Wang smiled at Vespera Bennett. "The biggest threat Country Z poses to us right now is Mason Nightshade. Once he's dead, you really think we'll have trouble getting our hands on the goods? This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to kill Mason Nightshade! Activate all the traps!"
Ian Wang left the monitoring room and went to the room where Aurelia Shaw was being held.
"Your man's here to rescue you."
Aurelia Shaw narrowed her eyes and let out a cold laugh. "Ian Wang… I didn't expect the one who caught me to be you. If it's you, that means the person who wants me grabbed is him.
I didn't think you'd still refuse to give up."
"You've still got value we can exploit. Why would we ever give up?"
Aurelia Shaw didn't think too deeply about Ian Wang's words.
