Aurelia went to Mason Nightshade's company. She was disheveled, without makeup, with dark circles around her eyes from a poor night's sleep, but as soon as she entered the company, Mason's secretary recognized her.
Seeing her rush in, the secretary thought she had another falling out with Mason and came to cause trouble. "Miss Aurelia, I'm sorry, the president is not here, you can't just enter the president's office."
Aurelia's mind was solely focused on Mason, not hearing clearly what the secretary said. She could easily avoid a sure defeat, but whether it was concern or other reasons, she expended much effort to bypass the secretary and pushed open Mason's office door.
There was no one inside.
Secretary: "Miss Aurelia, I told you earlier, the president is not in the company. Do you have something to—"
Before the secretary finished speaking, Aurelia had already turned to leave, leaving the puzzled secretary and a group of gossiping employees.
