"Let her show off," Aurelia Shaw said nonchalantly. "She'll soon find out that acting isn't just about money and scheming. Without real talent, she doesn't even qualify to be a supporting actress."
Ding dong!
Aurelia's phone chimed.
She glanced at the screen; it was a WeChat message from Sawyer, "Have you looked at the script I sent you last time, grandma?"
This Sawyer.
"Getting addicted to calling me grandma, huh?" Aurelia tapped lightly on the keyboard as she replied.
Sawyer responded confidently, "I lost the bet back then, and calling you grandma was the wager. I have to keep my word! Grandma, this script is truly one of a kind. I assure you it will be a big hit; why don't you take a look?"
Sawyer might not be doing great in the industry, but his scripts are in high demand. Such a person begging her to take a script—if others in the circle knew, they'd be jealous enough to gnaw their nails off.
"I've read it. It's not bad."
