Grayson Quinn was waiting in the corner of the corridor when Aurelia Shaw walked out. Seeing her enter the elevator, he slipped inside just before the doors closed, and no one noticed who had entered.
Aurelia's eyes flashed with surprise, not expecting Grayson Quinn to appear suddenly. She recalled the night he had murderous intent towards her, becoming more wary of him.
How could Grayson Quinn not notice the change in her gaze? He gave a cynical laugh. After what she did, no matter Mason Nightshade's attitude towards her, he would absolutely not forgive her.
"What are you afraid of, afraid I'll kill you here?"
Grayson Quinn spoke with undisguised hostility.
The more he said that, the more relieved Aurelia felt. Someone like him, if truly intent on killing, wouldn't waste words.
Aurelia pressed the button for the first floor and quietly waited for the elevator to descend.
"What did Mason Nightshade tell you?" Grayson Quinn asked.
