"No way!"
Mason Nightshade's deep voice abruptly shattered Aurelia Shaw's already muddled thoughts.
Completely unaware that she had jumped into a trap set by the other, Aurelia obediently nodded, "Oh."
"Good girl." Mason rewarded her with a kiss on her red lips, "Shall we go to sleep?"
"Okay." Aurelia nodded again, settled down, and closed her eyes.
Mason glanced at her, put away the contract, then turned off the light and lay down beside her.
A warm feeling washed over her. Drunken and sleepy, Aurelia instinctively reached out to embrace Mason.
She nestled her head into his arms, found a comfortable position, and fell asleep.
The woman's even breaths brushed against his chest.
Mason, satisfied, curled his lips into a smile and left a kiss on the top of her head.
