Jiang Qinglan looked at the sweating Sun Zhe in front of her, visibly surprised.
"Uh... who else could it be?"
Sun Zhe gave an awkward smile, thinking of this morning's events as he faced the absolutely stunning empress.
He imagined Second Aunt would have seen the unseemly mess left on the battlefield when she stepped into it uncleaned.
But seeing Jiang Qinglan's reaction now, Sun Zhe realized she wasn't following him here; she seemed to have come to the Undying Pavilion for something.
"Second Aunt, please have a seat first."
Sun Zhe brought over a plastic chair for her.
Jiang Qinglan gave Sun Zhe a long look, her gaze unintentionally drifting below his abdomen, a blush spreading across her beautiful face.
