The car hadn't gone far when Lin Hao received a call from Director Kang of the police station.
"County Magistrate Lin, that Master Jin San has confessed," Director Kang reported.
"Who's behind him?" Lin Hao asked.
"County Magistrate Lin, Master Jin San confessed to being instructed by a woman named Shen Ping. I've investigated this Shen Ping; she's part of the Shen Family. I've already sent people to apprehend her, but I suspect..." Director Kang hesitated.
"You mean you can't catch Shen Ping?" Lin Hao said in a deep voice.
"The person behind the scenes is very cunning and likely will cut off the clues. But this Shen Ping is part of the Shen Family, and I suspect..." Director Kang didn't finish the sentence, but it was already quite clear.
Lin Hao felt a twist in his heart, knowing that the old man from the Shen Family must have already suspected him, hence sending people to follow and investigate him.
