Lin Yi murmured, floating up and down in the water like a fishing bobber.
The pain he had just experienced was indescribable... Despite
his will being forged through countless trials, he almost collapsed.
Half an hour passed before he could catch his breath again.
To say the residents of the shelter were in panic would be an understatement; they all thought the boss had burned to death trying to save the soldiers.
"It's father! He's alive!"
Alyosha shouted, having been searching all over the shelter with his siblings.
"Dad..." Kaya moaned, tears streaming down her face as she ran toward Lin Yi who was floating on the water's surface.
"Why are you all crying?"
"Father... everyone thought you were dead."
Kaya's words quickly brought Lin Yi back to his senses.
He kept an eye on his core members, many of them searching through the shelter.
Rein was holding Chen Youyou, crying loudly, though Chen Youyou's condition wasn't great either.
