Because there were so many things to bring, she planned to drive over.
The car was part of the dowry gifted by Yao Jingsong at their wedding.
These past two years, Yao Jingsong's business had grown tremendously, especially the foreign trade part, and this car was one he procured for her from abroad, the only one of its kind in the country.
Originally, he wanted to give her a red sedan, but Gu Lingling thought red was too flashy, so they switched to a white one.
Yet, even so, on the first day she drove the car to work, it still caused quite a stir, as nobody else at the company drove a private car to work.
Gu Lingling was the first.
Of course, there were always those who spoke enviously, like Sun Fan who said to Tong Sha, "She's just lucky to have married well."
But not everyone is fortunate enough for such luck.
Moreover, with Gu Lingling's current status, marrying Yang Yunhai was not seen as marrying above her station at all.
