Gu Lingling bought groceries and returned to the courtyard that belonged to them.
At the end of last year, Zhao Jingmiao moved out of the courtyard and rented a small room in another courtyard not far from here.
Gu Lingling visited her place; the conditions were decent. The tenant was an old lady, who was very kind. Her children were not around, and she wanted to find some company, so she thought of renting out the place.
Incidentally, this would earn her some pocket money.
Zhao Jingmiao was obedient and ambitious, naturally meeting the old landlady's requirements. She agreed to rent the place to Zhao Jingmiao happily, even allowing her to use their kitchen, provided expenses were shared evenly.
Zhao Jingmiao also liked living in a courtyard, so she agreed.
However, she would occasionally return to visit Gu Lingling and would invite Zhao Xuefei and the others over to her place for meals on weekends.
