The spot where Xiao Ang should have been sleeping was empty, and without the little guy's figure, Su Xiaomeng suddenly opened her eyes wide and woke up. She looked toward the door; the door... was half-open.
Su Xiaomeng jumped straight out of bed and gave Yin Shixiu a hard slap,
"Shixiu! Get up!"
Yin Shixiu, who always slept lightly, was frightened by the forceful slap and immediately woke up!
"What happened?"
He sat up and asked, still in a daze, while Xiao Meng was already out of bed, putting on her shoes, and turning on the light. As she searched around the bedroom, she said to Yin Shixiu,
"Xiao Ang is missing."
"..."
Yin Shixiu looked closely and indeed, there was no sign of the little guy on the bed!
