The deafening sounds of explosions continued unceasingly. Everyone nervously fixed their eyes on the projected images, the continuous explosions seemed to ignite an extraordinarily grand firework display in the heavens. Almost all the missiles launched perfectly hit their targets, but before they could reveal a joyful expression, the next scene left them stunned in place.
Those orbital pods, resembling meteors, were still descending rapidly.
Although they crudely appeared like enormous iron coffins, the missiles fired at them seemed to have little to no effect.
"Replay the footage!"
The footage was replayed in the command center, and under everyone's careful observation, they noticed that at the moment of missile explosion, an invisible energy force field emerged on those crude iron lumps, completely isolating them from any missile damage, impervious to even a slight disturbance.
"WAAAGH force field!..." A military officer in his forties revealed a bitter smile and murmured.
