Bang!
A rock python lunged directly at Yan Luo. Remaining calm, Yan Luo gauged the deflective shield range by the size of the demon and stepped through the shield, facing the rock python. He raised his long-barreled shotgun and pulled the trigger.
The python's head was blasted back, and before it could recover, Yan Luo fired a second, third, and fourth shot.
With each shot, the scales on the python's head shattered a bit more.
Yan Luo pressed his assault, getting close enough to press the gun muzzle right up against the python's head.
With the final blast, the python's brain matter splattered.
Since becoming a Hunter, Yan Luo was rarely disturbed by demons during rest. After every battle with a demon, he had to change his campsite.
The sound of gunfire would attract other demons to investigate. If he were part of a Hunter team, this wouldn't be much of a worry as they would have someone keep watch. However, Yan Luo, being a solo Hunter, needed to be more vigilant than most.
