Hedan, 88 Mahler Street, No. 109.
Although it was only his third visit, Li Xin already felt a strong familiarity with the place. Of course, he didn't need to climb through the window anymore; he was now a man with a key and could enter through the front door.
Christie was making dinner for herself. In truth, Li Xin felt a bit nervous. Christie was undoubtedly an independent woman, and their relationship was somewhat delicate. This sudden intrusion could be well-received or could be quite off-putting, and even though he had an excuse, he was still unsure inside.
When Christie saw Li Xin, she froze for a moment before smiling. "You little glutton, I rarely cook, and you've already caught the scent."
Li Xin made himself comfortable at the dining table and rubbed his stomach. "I am actually hungry."
Christie chuckled. "Just wait a moment, it'll be ready soon."
